CERARL is a surfacing material with a lightweight fiberglass, adhesive and decorative finish that can be installed on any rough, flat surface. CERARL is a revolutionary and innovative material from Japan. This material has outstanding characteristics such as fire resistance, excellent waterproofing, unique antibacterial, impact resistance. All these characteristics make CERARL the ideal material in areas of high temperature, heat, humidity and high bacterial flow, where hygiene, sterility are highly important. With an overall thickness of 3mm, CERARL has 4 layers as follows:
The protective film makes CERARL sheet antibacterial, easy to clean, and resistant to impact.
Decorative paper layer: A layer of paper with texture and color dipped in MUF (melamine urea formaldehyde) glue. After heat pressing on the core layer, the MUF glue inerts to form a transparent melamine resin layer, further reinforcing the protective layer. The grain and color of the laminate are determined by this decorative paper.
Noncombustible core layer: This core layer is composed of glass fiber dipped in specialized glue, making CERARL noncombustible, lightweight, and waterproof.
Decorative paper layer: It is a layer of paper dipped in MUF glue as the bottom layer to balance the sheet. CERARL panel is clearly divided on the upper and lower surface when applied to the surface.
In the Vietnamese market, CERARL panels are still a new material compared to the general surface material market. But in the home country of Japan, itt is currently a popular and spearhead product of AICA. Because CERARL has the following outstanding advantages:
Noncombustion: This is the most outstanding feature of Aica Cerarl sheet when compared to other surface cladding materials. the price is too high. High-end: Currently, compared to other surface cladding materials, CERARL panels are at a rather high price range. Therefore, CERARL panels are not yet popular with the majority of customers.
Applications are not as diverse as laminate, veneer, ...: CERARL panels are mainly applied in wall cladding, but not on the surface of furniture.
